All the fine timber furniture in Great Southern Gallery is handcrafted by cabinet-maker’s Bjarne & Soren Nielsen (who has been designing and creating fine pieces of furniture for over 35 years). This is the Gallery where you can discuss what you want, direct, with the cabinet-maker that will create your piece of furniture for you.

There is always a selection of furniture on show at Great Southern Gallery.  We can also custom design and handcraft furniture to suit your own requirements.

Everything from bedside tables, beds, dressing-tables, to dining tables, buffet’s, Visual Audio Units, Wall Units, occasional tables – all different sizes, timbers and shapes.

As well as solid timber furniture, we also have timber framed mirrors, quality pottery (by different ceramists), gorgeous jewellery (lots of individual ‘one-off’ pieces), hand-blown glass (clear and coloured), sculptures, a large and varied selection of beautiful timber gifts (including bowls, vases, hotpot stands, coasters) and practical wooden boards in various timbers (for bread, cheese etc).   Textiles, (merino, alpaca, mohair) in the form of scarves, wraps, hats, jackets as well as a lovely selection of locally handmade baby booties, bonnets and jackets.

A Gallery is not complete without Original Artwork and the artwork at Great Southern Gallery is varied and diverse.  Different sizes, content and media.  Abstracts, animals, landscapes, ‘real-life’ and imaginative art.  A range of Limited Edition artwork (including silk-screen printing) is also available.
