Exhibition Pottery

Our first Exhibition for 2012 will begin Sunday 12 February and go until Sunday 25 March.  'Salt n Wood' is a Pottery Exhibition at Great Southern Gallery.  It features the salt glazed, wood fired pottery by well known established ceramist Greg Crowe.  Each quality piece is uniquely handcrafted.  Large, small, pots, jugs, mugs, bowls, plates, vases, all sorts.  All pottery will be available for purchase (and take home on day of sale, no waiting period).     Greg's pottery is all handcrafted and each piece is very individual.   So if you are a fan of his work, or never seen it before and would like to, come to Great Southern Gallery soon.
 
Great Southern Gallery is open Friday to Sunday during February (summer) 10am to 4pm.
 
Look out for the flags and signs as you drive down Great Southern Highway.  Located approx 17kms 10minutes from the Lakes Roadhouse/Chidlow turnoff to York.  Or approx 30kms or 20minutes from York.

2012 Happy New Year Everyone!
Great Southern Gallery will be having Art Exhibitions throughout this year.  The first one being Ceramist Greg Crowe, 'Salt n Wood' Pottery. Sunday 12 February to Sunday 25 March.
Then:
Sunday 1 April to 13 May, Lila Susana Banderas de Edwards 'Straw Art'. Artist.
Sunday 27 May to 8 July, Pam Lockwood, Artist.
Sunday 22 July to 2 September, Alison Downie, 'The Poppettes', Artist.
Sunday 16 September to 28 October, Sharon Ellis (SARWON), Artist.

Sharon's latest Exhibition 'Dogs and Houses' has now finished.  It was a very successful, rewarding Exhibition and we received lots of very positive comments and feedback from people who viewed her work.
 
Sharon is a permanent Artist at Great Southern Gallery and always has a selection of her outstandingly beautiful artwork on display.  So if you love Sharon's work and/or would like to see more of it, come along and have a look.   The artwork is continually being changed on a regular basis, so always something new to see.
 
Great Southern Gallery located on the Great Southern Highway, Woottating in the Avon Valley.  Approx 30 minutes from Mundaring.

Sharon Ellis currently has an Exhibition of some of her original artworks at Great Southern Gallery.  The artworks feature either a 'house' or a 'dog' - hence the name of this Exhibition "Dogs and Houses". 
 
Sharon's artwork can be provoking and challenging, and for some people, they just cant simply walk away - her artwork can strike a chord.   Sharon's artwork for this Exhibition will be on display until the end of this month, so if you have never seen her work before, call in and have a look.

Exhibition for 2012

Yes 2012!  Not that far away and Great Southern Gallery is already planning the Art Exhibitions for the next year.  Our first Exhibition will be February and March and will display the work of well-known local potter/ceramist Greg Crowe.   Greg is well known for his wonderful salt glazed, wood fired pottery.   The Exhibition will feature a broad range of his work, including mugs, bowls, vases etc etc. 
 
So if you love pottery, mark this date on your 2012 Calendar!

Sharon Ellis (SARWON) Exhibition

Local Artist Sharon Ellis (SARWON) currently has a great Art Exhibition at Great Southern Gallery.  Sharon's work can challenge you and is bold and striking.  Original artworks range from small to very large.  'Dogs and Houses' is this Exhibition's theme and the works depict either dog/s or houses/s or a combination. 
If you have never seen Sharon's artwork, come and see this selection at Great Southern Gallery.

Dogs and Houses New Art Exhibition

Our next new Art Exhibition will begin this coming Sunday, 2 October at Great Southern Gallery.  This will be our final art exhibition for 2011.  Featuring original artwork by Artist Sharon Ellis (SARWON), as the title suggests, the artworks will feature dogs and/or houses.  All Sharon's original artworks are in acrylic.  Sharon's work is quite recognisable, it is beautiful, bold and different.  The Exhibition will run for six weeks until 27 November.  So come and visit Great Southern Gallery and see Sharon's artwork.
 
All artwork will be available for sale.
