Great Southern Gallery has original artworks from lots of different Australian Artists.  All the original artworks are by Australian artists and we have some really excellent local artists.  Come and have a look at some of the work by local artists including Sharon Ellis, Pat Lane, Brian Aylward, Jeremy Holton, Kaye Devlin, Alison Downie just to name a few.   We also have original artworks by other Australian Artists such as Howard William Steer who does great humourous work, lots of giggling from those who look at his art!

Great Southern Gallery have a broad range of handblown glass.  Some coloured and some clear.  Most is handcrafted by Australian Artists (coloured birds, fish, oil lamps etc) and we also have a beautiful selection of coloured and clear glass and crystal from Europe.  So lots to choose.

All the pottery at Great Southern Gallery is locally handcrafted by a variety of ceramists.  All different in their styles and all very good quality.

We have lots and lots of beautiful jewellery (mainly semi-precious stones and sterling silver).  We have Australian artists who design and handcraft absolutely divine pieces such as Caroline Hadwin, Julie Frahm, and we also have quality jewellery from Europe (for example our sterling silver chains come from Germany).

All our timber gifts are Australian made and of course, all our beautiful furniture is made right here on site at Great Southern Gallery.

So come and see what we have and do at this Award winning Australian owned and family operated Gallery.

We also have a beautiful selection of handcrafted and handpainted birds (camphor laurel) by WA Artists A and C Vanne.  Some life-like and some whimsical, they make a very special and unique gift for Christmas (or any other time) for someone in your life.

Solid Jarrah Dining Tables

posted Nov 10, 2011 4:24 PM by Mandy Nielsen

Great Southern Gallery have a fantastic selection of dining tables for you to view (and buy) at any one time.  Solid single slab jarrah dining tables, with or without inlays (different timbers, marri, sheoak, tasmanian blackwood etc).  Some have natural 'rough' edge sides and some have been handcrafted smooth edges.  At the moment there is a really big dining table with intricate inlays - just great for those big family gatherings and with Christmas fast approaching, would be perfect for that large family lunch.   We also have tables that will seat 8 comfortably, 6 comfortably, 10, 12.  So a good selection.

And yes, we do handcraft dining tables from different timbers - not just jarrah!

Come and visit Great Southern Gallery this weekend and see for yourself the quality craftsmanship of the cabinetmakers (Soren and Bjarne Nielsen).
